From your base at The Garden House there is access to walks, in the woods, longer way marked trails and the high hills. Fishing is available on the River Don by the day and at several local well stocked trout fisheries. Mountain bike trails nearby in Tarland for all ages and miles of tracks in the forestry and hills. Aberdeenshire has a wealth of Castles. Corgarff, Glenbuchat and Kildrummy are all nearby on the Castle Trail.
